Celebrate the beginnings of Aston Villa football history with the Aston Villa 1874 Lion Heritage Embroidered Football Sweatshirt, featuring a statement design built around the year the club was founded.

The artwork combines bold 1874 embroidery with a striking lion at its centre, while flowing claret and blue detailing runs through the founding year. Finished with subtle gold accents, the design brings together Villa’s heritage, colours and Birmingham football identity in a clean, contemporary piece.

Created for supporters who appreciate the history behind the shirt, the embroidery transforms 1874 into an understated celebration of more than 150 years of football, tradition and identity.

Fabric composition can vary by garment and colour. Please see the product details above for the specification of this sweatshirt.

Each sweatshirt is made to order. Production takes a few days before your order is shipped. Delivery options and final costs are shown at checkout.

Machine wash cold, inside-out, on a gentle cycle with mild detergent and similar colours. Do not iron decoration. Tumble dry low, or hang-dry for longest life. Do not dry clean.

Every design is individually digitised by embroidery specialists rather than simply printed onto fabric.

This creates a raised, textured finish with excellent durability. Very fine details may be subtly refined during digitising while maintaining the original design.

Each sweatshirt is made to order, helping reduce waste by avoiding unnecessary mass production.
